Land Patent No. S-8609 Issued In Confirmation of a Portion of Land Commission Award
Whereas, the Board of Commissioners to quiet Land Titles, did, by its decision, award by Land Commission Award No. 10474, Part 1 to N. Namauu, an estate in Fee Simple in the land hereafter described, and
Whereas, application has been made to the Board of Land and Natural Resources by John Howard Kerr, Jr., and Sharlyn Chiyemi Kerr, husband and wife, claiming to be the present owner of a portion of said land for a Patent covering same, and
Whereas, the award was made by survey on December 29, 1852, the description of which is found on pages 239-241 of Volume 3 of Land Commission Awards, on file in the office of the Department of Land and Natural Resources, and
Whereas, there is no government commutation due thereon.
Now, Therefore, the State of Hawaii, in conformity with the laws of the State of Hawaii, by this Patent makes known to all men that it has this day granted and confirmed absolutely, in Fee Simple, unto N. Namauu, all a portion of the land situate at Ulumalu, in the Dist ....

.... ning at the northwest corner of this parcel of land and o the east side of Ulumalu Road, the coordinates of said point of beginning referred to Government Survey Triangulation Station "Kapuai" being 3450.96 feet North and 2752.61 feet West, thence running by azimuths measured clockwise from True South:
1.273° 05" 201.88 feet along Lot 13-B (Portion of Lot 13 of Halehaku Homes Tract);
2. 353° 58" 72.95 feet along Lot 16 of Halehaku Homes Tract;
3. 83° 58" 200.00 feet along Lot 12 of Halehaku Homes Tract;
4. 173° 58" 100.82 feet alongthe east side of Ulumalu Road;
5. 183° 05" 4.18 feet along the east side of Ulumalu Road to the point of beginning and containing an Area of 17,800 Square Feet.
