Land Patent No. 8418 Issued In Confirmation of Land Commission Award
Whereas, the Board of Commissioners to quiet Land Titles, did, by their decision, award by Land Commission Award No. 6450:4 to Kaunuohua no W.L. Moehonua an estate of Freehold less than Allodial in the land hereafter described, and
Whereas, application has been made to the Commissioner of Public Lands by John Pia, the present owner of said land for a Patent covering same, and
Whereas, this award, of which the parcel hereinbelow is a part, was made by survey, the description of which is found on Page 487, of Volume 6 of Land Commission Awards on file in the Office of the Commissioner of Public Lands, and
Whereas, the Government commutation thereon, amounting to Fifty and 56/100 Dollars ($50.56) together with interest, has been paid at the Office of the Com ....

To have and to hold the above granted land in Fee Simple, absolute unto the said Kaunuohua no W.L. Moehonua and the heirs and assigns of Kaunuohua no W.L. Moehonua forever.
In Witness whereof, The Governor of the Territory of Hawaii, has hereto set his hand and caused the Great Seal of the Territory to be hereunto affixed, this 17th day of January, A.D. 1929
