Land Patent No. 8209 In Confirmation of Land Commission Award
Whereas, the Board of Commissioners to quiet Land Titles did by Land Commission Award No. 8525B, Part 3 award to Julia Alapai Kauwa, an estate of Freehold less than Allodial in the land hereafter described,
And whereas proper application has been made to the Commissioner of Public Lands by Charles M. Cooke, Limited, a Hawaiian Corporation duly Incorporated under the Law of the Territory of Hawaii, for a Patent to the herein described land, and whereas a Certificate of Boundaries defining the same has been duly filed, and the Government Commutation thereon amounting to One Hundred and Eighty-five ($185.00) Dollars has been paid
Therefore, the Governor of the Territory of Hawaii, in conformity with the Laws of the
United States of America and of the Territory of Hawaii, by this Pate ....
