Royal Patent Upon Upon Confirmation of the Land Commission
Whereas, the Board of Commissioners to quiet Land Titles have by their decision awarded unto V. Kamamalu, Land Commission Award 7713, Apana 39, an Estate of Freehold less than Allodial, in and to the Land hereafter described; and whereas proper application having been made by the Trustees of the Estate of Mrs. B.P. Bishop, the present owner of said land to the Minister of the Interior for a Royal Patent on the within described land, A decree of the Supreme Court defining the boundaries of same having been filed, and the Government Commutation thereon relinquished by order of the Privy Council during the reign of Kamehameha III,
Therefore, Kalakaua, by the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known to all men, that he has, for himself and for his successors in office, this day granted and given absolutely in Fee Simple, unto V. Kamamalu all that certain piece of land situate at Ili of Kapaakea, Honolulu, Kona in the Island of Oahu, and described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest angle of the enclosing wall of Grant 382 in Pilipili to P. Metcalf and running thence by true meridian:
