Royal Patent Upon Confirmation of the Land Commission.
Whereas, the Board of Commissioners to Quiet Land Titles have by their decision awarded unto John Meek (Kuleana Helu 591, Section 6, part 1) an estate of Freehold less than Allodial, in and to the land hereafter described, and whereas J.H. Coney, executor of the Will of said John Meek, has filed with the Minister of Interior a certificate defining the boundaries of said Ahupuaa of "Kalauao" as below set forth, and whereas the Privy Council by a Resolution dated 14th May 1855, h ....

To have and to hold the above granted land in Fee Simple, unto the said John Meek, his Heirs and Assigns forever, subject to the taxes to be from time to time imposed by the Legislative council, equally upon all landed property held in Fee Simple.
