ROYAL PATENT,
UPON CONFIRMATION OF THE LAND COMMISSION.

Whereas, the Board of Commissioners to quiet Land Titles have, by their decision, awarded unto Stephen Reynolds, Claims No. 9, 619, 620, 621, 622, 624, 625, 626, 628, 629, 631, and 632, an estate of Freehold less than Allodial, in and to the land hereinafter described, and whereas the said Stephen Reynolds has commuted the title as awarded for a fee simple title by the payment of one thousand dollars into the Royal  Exchequer.

Therefore, Kamehameha, by the grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known unto all men, that He has, for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given absolutely, in Fee Simple, unto Stephen Reynolds all that certain piece of land situate at Honolulu in the Island of Oahu, and described as follows:

No. 9. A house lot on the corner of King and Nuuanu Streets
No. 619, A houselot on Punchbowl hill Street
No. 620, A lot on Cross Street [or ?]
No. 621, A lot on the corner of Hotel and Fort Street
No. 622, A lot on the corner of Hotel and Nuuanu Streets
No. 624, A lot on King Street adjoining the Grimes lot on the corner of King and Fort Streets
No. 625, A lot on the corner of Merchant and Nuuanu Streets
No. 626, Parts 1 & 2 Hotel & Wharf lot on Queen Street, Part 3 lot on Merchant Street opposite the above
No. 628, A lot in King Street adjoining No. 624
No. 629, A lot in King Street adjoining A. Paki's houselot
No. 631, A lot in Garden Street adjoining Catholic Mission
No. 632, A lot adjoining John Meeks premises and connected with King Street by a lane belonging to this lot.
All of which lots are particularly described in the surveys of T. Metcalf annexed to this Patent and stamped with the seal of the Board of Land Commissioners to quiet Land Titles.

Containing [left blank]     acres, more or less; excepting and reserving to the Hawaiian Government all mineral or metalic mines of every description.

To have and to hold the above granted land in Fee Simple unto the said Stephen Reynolds, his heirs and assigns forever, subject to the taxes to be from time to time imposed by the Legislative Council equally upon all landed property held in Fee Simple.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the Hawaiian Islands to be affixed, this 15th day of October 1853.
