Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby explain to you my claim for land at Lanihau 2. It is an ancient right, from Hoomakaukau to our makuas. When our makuakanes died, the right to the land descended to us. The length of our kihapais is 494 ia /yards/ and the width is 16. At Kealaehu, far mauka, and at Kaluulu, are 4 kihapai, 66 by 16.
