Greetings to the Land Commissioners: In the `ili of Peekauai in Waimea on the island of Kauai is a land named Namooekolu. When Kaikioewa was Governor, he gave it to Siromona Koolua, and I received /my land/ and have held it until this time. It is bounded on the north by a lo`i which adjoins that of Epa, 1 chain 7 fathoms; on the east is Pohakuloa, 2 chains 1 fathoms, 4 feet; on the south is Puukapele, 1 chain 7 fathoms; on the west is a kula which adjoins Melieke's land, 1 chai ....
