I, the one whose name is below, hereby present my claim, a house site and a planted hala tree, and a pond, and eight lo`i, in Makiki, in Pawaa. There is also a small kula inland, and another portion of kula, which however is surrounded by John Ii's land. That is my claim to you,

This land was given to Maalo by Kinau in the time of Kaomi. Maalo died about 10 or 12 years ago and then the land came to the present claimant, who has occupied it in peace ever since.
Kalua, sworn says, she knows the land of claimant, and confirms in full the testimony of the former witness.
