Hear ye, ye Land Commissioners: I have some land in an 'ili in the Ahupua`a of Pelekunu. The name of this claim is Pipiwai.

I occupied this claim in the time of Kamehameha I. Kuakapu was the konohiki at that time. He is dead, and I, Kiau, am the konohiki at this time. On the north and south this land is 25 fathoms, on the east and west it is 15 fathoms.
