The diagram of the lot of Kuhio on the Island of Molokai, Ahupua`a of Moanui. The west side is 117 fathoms, the north side is 33 fathoms, the east side is 143 fathoms, the south side is 65 fathoms.

Another claim is makai. Its east side is 11 fathoms, the south side is 65 fathoms, the west side is 33 fathoms. The north side is bounded by the Government road.

Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I, Kuhio, in the Ahupua`a of Moanui, Island of Molokai, have four `ili, named Papuaa, Kiloa, Kepani and Kaalaa.

The po`alima of the konohikis is separate, and our land claim is separate. We have lived peacefully until this day, with no objections. These four `ili each have a kula.

Our right of occupancy has been from the time of Kamehameha I at Moanui on the Island of Molokai, and we have had peaceful and undisturbed possession until the present.

Furthermore, the words above about the diagram of the lot, explain the diagram below:
