.... taken in the beginmning: Puhalahua was the konohiki over me and we had all of
Hanohano's property until 1846, M. Kekuanaoa came to make settlements on the land
boundaries. He restored everything properly to Hanohano and from that time to
October 1852, J. Piikoi took this sea and it has been that way to this day on which
I am relating here.

I believe that this sea is for Hanohano, this is the truth since the early kings. Pouhala has no interest in the least in this land. I am a native of this place my parents had been from there, they died there and I was born in Ewa.

The boundaries of Hanohano's land - 2 pauku's.

Section 1:
Mauka, Pouhala and Waipio
Waipio, Aualiiili
Makai, Ulumanu ili
Hoaeae, Waipahu ili.

Section 2 - Apokaa, Pouhala ili.,
Mauka, Pouhala ili, Ohua and Pahao
Waipio, Ulemoku sea
Makai, Konouliuli [Honouliuli?] sea
Hoaeae, Sea, pasture.
