Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby state to you my claim at Honokohau. There is a house lot, and a lot on which I cultivate and pay my tax, at Haua. Paako is a kihapai where I paid the tax. Keahua is a kihapai cultivated by me and I paid the tax. Omakaa is a place I cultivated and paid the tax.

Kalalau, sworn, I know the lands of the claimant. They are in Honokohau.
No. 1 is a house lot in the ili of Keauhou.
No. 2 is 10 lois in the ili of Haua.
No. 3 is one loi in the ili of Heahua.
No. 5 is a kalo land in the ili of Paakoo.
No. 5 is 3 lois & coffee patch in Makaa.
The claimant received these lands from his parents who possessed them from the days of Kamehameha I and his title can not be questioned. He died in February last. His widow, ....
