In accordance with the call of the land commissioners in the Alele, to hasten in placing our claims before the 14th day of February: Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby state my claim for land in the `ili of Kaulanakaloa. There are 15 lo`i, 3 clumps of bamboo, 1 clump of lauhala, also some clumps of olona on various banks of the stream. Those are my rightful claims in this `Ili. There are some places suitable for planting other things. In a dry place also, there are 14 /claims/. Furthermore, in the `Ili of Elekini I have a claim for land. I will explain its boundaries and its cultivation.
