To the Honorable Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands, Greetings: I hereby state my claim for land at Hanaloa in Waipio, Ewa, Island of Oahu. It is bounded on the north by the lo`i of Kumumu, on the east by the mo`o of Kapowa, on the south by the Pond of Kumumu, on the west by the Pond of Kapowa. My second land claim is at Niau in Waikele, Ewa, Island of Oahu. It is bounded on the north by the lo`i of Kumaewa, on the east by the lo`i of Paulua, on the south by the lo`i of Kumaiwa, on the west by the lo`i of Hookomani. The second /sic/ of my claims is at Hanaloa, Waipio and it is bounded on the north by the lo`i ....

Keawekolohe, sworn, he has seen his 1/2 patch Henuhenu in the ili of Hanaloa in Waipio, Ewa, Oahu. Kumumu has the other 1/2 of this patch, here is also a 1/2 pasture division.

Mauka by Kaapapapa patch
Honolulu by 1/2 of the patch
Makai by Kalokoeli pond
Waianae by Kapelapela koele.

Land from Nalimu at the time of Kinau, no one objected to him.

Kaluahinenui, sworn, he has known in the same way as Keawekolohe.
