I have a mo`o at Waimalu. It is bounded on the north by the land of Kuilaahilo, on the east by the land of Kamahua, on the south by the land of Kauaua, On the west by the land of Kauonohi. Four lo`i of the Konohiki are situated together with my claim. Here also is my house lot claim, which is bounded on the north by the land of Paaoao, on the east by a stream, on the south and west by kula.

.... hiki and objections were presented before the tax assessor. The decision was in front of the konohiki, perhaps because of his high status; however, this was an injustice for the konohikis because this interest had been for them since long ago. There was no cause for this action. Kahiki's land had been from Wailua at the time of Kaahumanu I, no one had objected to him until 1845 when the konohiki had stirred for these two sections.

Anaa, sworn, he has known in the same way as Kekaula.
