Hear ye, ye Land Commissioners: I hereby state my claim for land in Kuiaha. My little `Ili in Kuiaha is named Kapili.

At Kaheho are four lo`i and some steep plantings of second growth sweet potatoes, and some potato puaa*.

At Kaopili, and at Kapuaa, and at Papalo and at Kuiaha Two, are some potato puaa. Those are my claims which are stated to you, the Land Commissioners.

Kapau, sworn, Hookaea's land consists of 2 sections in the ili of Kaohe in Kuiaha. The first section is taro and the second section is a pasture. This was a bequest from the parents at the time of Kamehameha I, no objections.
