Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby state my claim for land at Hamakuapoko. There is a kula, named Nokuoi which is only a kula -- there are no people there and it is uncultivated. Since I wanted it I asked the konohiki whose land this was.

Here are some other claims, for some cultivating lots at Paia. There are 14 and 1 cattle enclosure and three drinking water springs. I have two lands inherited from my father-in-law. I also have some kulas there.

Here is another claim for 3 taro lo`i at Haiku in Hamakualoa which I received from Kahaleahu, however, it was I who dug and made them into lo`is. Kekuaiwahia is an eyewitness and some other people living th ....
