Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I am writing you of my land, which is an island between two streams and is perhaps four acres in size. I received it from Keaweamahi who gave it as a place for the houses of the school teachers. Two of us, myself and Kaelemakule had this place, and then Kaelemakule left the school and ended his occupancy of this place. Then I went to Keliiahonui for another place for the school and was given another land, then I separated this place for myself, however it was not entirely min ....

Ieremia Kihepono, sworn, I have known of Kahookui's land in Kamaloula in West Koloa.

Section 1 - House lot and the kula area.
Mauka by Dr. Wood's land
Puna by stream
Makai by intersection of waters
Hanapepe by Smith's land.

This land was obtained from Emeria in 1840. No one has objected to the present time.

Nakoa, sworn, I know that Kihepono's testimony is correct and true.
