To the Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands, Greetings: I hereby petition for my land claim. I have four lo'i in the 'ili of Kukanaka in the Ahupua'a of Honolulu, in District 1, Oahu. I have eight lo'i in the 'ili of Laimi in the Ahupua'a of Honolul ....

Kaneakaehu related to the Claims Officers, I had rejected this land long ago since 1848. I have been living with Kaeo in Laimi of Nuuanu and my land has been lying vacant. A foreigner is now cultivating it under the Konohiki.
Decision: Kaneakaehu's claim as noted above had been put aside and from this day forward it has been conveyed to the konohiki forever.
