Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I have a claim in the Ahupua`a of Halawa, Island of Molokai, named Kapana. The waterfall of Moaula is Mauka by on the makai side is Pualaulau, the `ili makai is for Ulu, and Keopuka is on the south. This is taro land, and kula also, and also there are some mountain olona areas. I occupied this land a very long time ago. Paia, the former konohiki of Halawa gave it to my makuas; they are all dead and at this time I have inherited the land. At the present time, the konohiki is Timoteo. Formerly I did po`alima labor but at this time am exc ....
