Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I, Kaka, in the Ahupua'a of Moakea on the Island of Molokai, have an 'ili in this ahupua'a which I desire to enter to have title quieted.
It is 12 chains long by only 5 fathoms in width, therefore it lies very long and narrow.
This 'ili also has a kula, 8 chains by 5 fathoms. There is also a mountain area, far mauka.
Kamehameha I was living when my kupunas received this land, and Kolii was the konohiki. They are dead and Puaaloa was the konohiki and I occupied this land.
There have been seven konohiki from the time I began to occupy the land -- Kekauonohi is the ali'i until this time and Kahuluaikaua is the present konohiki. They are th ....
