I, the one whose name is below, hereby state to you, the Commissioners to quiet land titles, that I have an `ili in the Ahupua`a of Ualapue with some lo`is and the kula. The name of this `ili is Maii, and it is 40 fathoms 3 feet in length by 11 fathoms in width, of the lo`i.

There is also kula land. The lands which adjoins the lo`i are the `ili of Kuaimamaki on the north and the `ili of Naniu on the east.

There is also kula land, 50 fathoms by 30 fathoms, and the one who knows of my getting this `ili is Paele.

Hakahi, sworn, Hilo's land is in Ualapue in the ili of Maii. Land from Hilo's parents. The new konohiki's came to live there but no one has objected.
