Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I have an `ili in the Ahupua`a of Honouliwai on the Island of Molokai. Its name is Hakoo, and it is 2 chains wide by 4 chains long. This `ili is close together with another `ili, Hakoo is makai. A pali is on one side, a stream is on the other side, with the kula and the mountain also.

The kula runs to the sea. That is one of its boundaries and Puuohawaii is another. The konohikis during the time I have held this land: "See his letter for the konohikis on the land.*

Land received at the time of Kamehameha I. No objections to the present.

Hoonuu, sworn, both have known in the same way.
