I, the one whose name is below, hereby state to you, the Commissioners to quiet land titles /that I have/ an `ili, Paalala, in the Ahupua`a of Keawanui, Island of Molokai, Hawaiian Islands.

The length is 22 fathoms, the width is 30½ fathoms. I also have some lo`is and a house lot which I have had from ancient times until the present. The adjoining land is Ohia, and the sea of Ohia also. This was received from Puakalialia, the konohiki of Keawanui.
