Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I, Opu, have a small land area in the Ahupua`a of Moakea on the Island of Molokai.

Its length is 14 chains 9 fathoms, and its width is only 4 fathoms. It lies very narrow and crooked, and adjoining at the head of this land is a different `ili, named Mokuhooniki. A pali of Papio. This land area has a kula and a mountain area /which have been held/ since this land became mine.

The length of this kula is 11 chains and the width is 7 chains. Kekauon ....

A decision was made that Opu has no claim in Ohia. Mr. Bishop only had surveyed it. 6 pasture acres are for the konohiki.
