Land Claim. I, Lanikaula, a subject of the Hawaiian Islands living at Wailua on the island of Kaui, hereby state to you, the Land Commissioners my own claim for land which is 60 fathoms long by 35 fathoms wide. The length of my house lot is 40 and the width is 20 fathoms. That is my claim.
