To the Honorable Land Commissioners, Greetings: I hereby state my claims for land. There are seven fish ponds at Kewalo in Honolulu. Two of my ponds are together in one place. Five are together in another place. P. Kahikauila gave me these ponds when Kinau was living and from then until the present there have been no objections and I am still at this place, living peacefully. It has been surveyed and the diagram follows.

Claimant received thisland from Kapihe in the lifetime of Kinau, and he has held the same without dispute till the present time.
