To the Honorable Land Commissioners, Greetings: I hereby state my claims for land at Kewalo in Honolulu on Oahu. I got this place in the time when Kinau was living. My makuahonowai gave these places to me. From that time I have lived there in peace, with no objections. These places have been surveyed and the diagrams follow. My claims are for a pond, a house site, and taro land, these are what I hereby state to you, the Land Commissioners.

North 66°, East 1 chain 33 feet; the pond of Kahaawi adjoins this side to the pond of Kahikauila, then turns and runs on the bank of this pond

South 42° 30' East 2 chains 43 7/12 feet along the land of Kiheiloloa, to the ko'ele of Keowai, then
North 56° East 40 3/12 feet to the lo'i of Kuaipaka, then turning and running between this lo'i and this land
North 40° West 3 chains to the lo'i of Keloha, then turning and running between this lo'i and this
South 47° West 49 5/12 feet to the place of beginning.
