Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby state my claim for land to you: Kaluaaha Ahupua`a on Molokai. I have held this land from the time of the death of Kavida Kekuanaoa until this day. It is bounded on the north by the mountain, on the east by Mapulehu, on the south by the sea, on the west by Ualapue.

Here is another claim of mine: Paehala, a land at Koolau of Molokai. I got this at the same time, when Hoapili ma were living. It is bounded on the north by Mapulehu, on the south by Pukoa, on the east by the mountain, on the west by Pukoa Two.

I have another claim on Maui, in Lahaina, a lot close to the Church, which was from Auhea and has not been disputed. It is bounded on the east by ....
