To the Land Commissioners: I am a native-born resident of Kawailoa, Waialua, and have a right from my makuas and before that time.

1. Mooiki, Kawailoa kai, two lo'i, bounded on the north by the land of Kaaeawa, east, by the lo'i of Kuokoa, south, by pali, west, by the lo'i of Kalaehina.

2. Nuukauila, Kawailoa waena. Okipuokoa /Translator's note: I think it means cut off and independent/. It is surrounded by the stream, but there is a pali on the south.

3. I have a pali wauke at Kawailoa uka, it is on the pali, however in the middle of the trees.

4. Within our combined lot at Kawailoa kai, I have a watermelon garden which is bounded on the north by the garden ....

Apana 5: A right in the sweet potato lot, there are 60 people there.

Apana 1 was from Wahinenui in the time of Kinau, no dispute for 4, 5 or perhaps 6 vears. Apanas 2 and 3 were from her kane, Makaino, in the time of Kinau, undisputed. Apana 4 was from Laanui, she has had it for 3 years, there is an obstruction to this Apana, as follows: Peku may not mischievously take the fish of the pond, if this is done she may not stay there. Apana 5 is the same as that of Kolikoli and Koiniho.

Kaaiawa, sworn, My knowledge of it is the same as that of Kolikoli.
