Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby tell of my lo`i in the `ili of Pauniu.

Some of these mounds have plants on them. All these lo`i are not situated in one place but jump here and there in this `ili. My makuas gave me some in 1832 and some were from Keahi in 1847.

Kahale, sworn, I know the lands of the claimant. They are in the ili of Pauniu, Wailuku. They consist of five distinct pieces.

No. 1. is one moo of kalo land.
No. 2. is one moo of kalo land.
No. 3. is one moo of kalo land.
No. 4. is 4 lo`i.
No. 5. is 1 lo`i.

The claimant is a son of the land, and received these lands from his parents in the last days of Kamehameha I with the exception of Nos 3, 4, & 5 w ....
