To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: I, the one whose name is below, hereby state my land claim to you. It was from Kamehameha III to this day on which I petition you for my 12 lo`i. However, they are not together in one place, 4 lo`i are in the `ili of Kanekoa, adjoining the lo`is of Nawaaholo and Punahoa. They are next to the stream. Kahaluu, Island of Oahu. There are 6 lo`i in my own land. Paahakili is the name of this `ili; also there is a pond at the shore. It is adjacent to the seashore area of Pakoie, -on the east is the point of Kaihuaha, on the southeast is a pali, on the west ....
