.... was constructed in the year 1837. He is a friend of Kamehameha. Kekuanaoa's first child and this was the reason for this award and he (Nadal) has always lived there to the present time. No one has objected.

M. Kekuanaoa's conveyance deed for that place which was written on January 3, 1842 and the signatures of the witnesses, Wm. Ladd. And J.W.D. Paalua are true. The contents within the document are also true.
