To the Land Commissioners: I, Kuaha, hereby state my true claim at Waialae of A. Paki, which I have held since the time of Kamehameha I to Kamehameha III. There are three lo`i, one irrigation ditch, one fish pond, one parcel in the upland, some trees planted by myself: orange, coffee, cherimoya, rough-skinned lemon, sisal, /also/ one kula and one house lot. It is finished. Farewell. ....

.... m Kuke and at his (Kepalai) death, had bequested it to his daughter, Kauku. at the time of Kaahumanu I. She has always lived there to the present without any objection.

Kuaha has the land now and there has been no objection.
