The Land Commissioners, House of the Privy Council, Greetings: I, the undersigned, hereby state my claim for taro land and kula for cultivating sweet potato at Kawailele in the land of Lui Palani /Louis French*/, the konohiki. I got this land in 1830. It is bounded on the north by the land of Kekapaula, on the east by the land of Aipae, on the south by the land of Poopoo, on the west by the land of Komo. That is the claim for the land which I got.
