Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby tell of my land claim at Kaneloa in Waikiki. I have four lo`i and two sections of irrigation ditch which were given to my makuakane, by Maluaikoo, in 1838 and it was held by my makuakane until the year 1843 when he gave it to me. I have held these lo`is peacefully, under the konohiki, with no objections. I also have a house claim at Kapahulu in Waikiki which Nakaikuahine gave to my makuakane in the year 1841. I am here at this place at ....
