No. 1282, Keliikanakaole, Honolulu, October 1847
N.R. 54-55v3

Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby tell you of my house lot claim, at Kalawahine in Honolulu. It is bounded on the north by a kula; on the east by Auwaiolimu; on the south by Nuuanu Street; on the west by my own lo`i and the place of Kaauhauhula.

We lived in this place at the time when Nahienaena was living. We have lived in peace until this time when A. Keiliahonui is objecting to us. There are three houses there which are ours. There are also ten lo`i, six of them adjoin our house lot, one lo`i adjoins Helela's land, two lo`i adjoin Kanunu's land, one lo`i adjoins Alaala's land.

All these lo`i are in Kalawahine, and we have lived peacefully under the konohiki.
