To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: I hereby tell you of my land and house claim at Kaluaopalena, an `ili in Kalihi, Island of Oahu. It is bounded on the north by the hog pen; on the east by the land of Hoenui; on the south by the po`alima lo`i; on the west by the land of Pao.

The house claim is bounded on the north by the hog pen; on the east and the south by the land of Kaioe, and Kahinalua; on the west by a hog pen. I have two new lo ....

Keahia, Manini's father had received this claim from Manini (the foreigner) at the time of Kamehameha II. He (Keahia) lived there always until his death, which was probably in 1840. He had bequested these places to this Manini here, who is his own daughter. No objection to her.
