To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: I hereby tell you of my land claim at Kukanaka, one mo`o `aina, seven taro patches; on the north is Halai's place, on the west is Keawe's place, on the east is Hauhaukoi, on the south is Ohioku's place. We /also/ claim a house lot at Kukanaka.

Pilikua's land is from Kaeo received while Kuakini was at the fort in the year 1833 or 4 probably. He has one house there, but there is no fence and he has lived there in peace to this day."
