To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: I, Honu, hereby tell you of my land claim at Keoneula in Honolulu, my house lot, three patches in one place, and two kulas, adjoining the west side of Kahawali, on the north of Hauhaukoi. One patch is in another place adjoining my house lot, on the north is Hauhaukoi 2. This is my claim,

.... n Honolulu district. This has seven patches and a houselot in one section. Honu has two houses there and the boundaries are:

Kupau's land, mauka
Kuluahi's land, Waikiki
Lai's land, makai
Moo's land, Ewa.

Honu's land is from Kalunaaina at the time Kinau had been alive. Kalunaaina has died. Honu has lived peacefully to this day."
