Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I will tell you about by makuakane, Keliikahua. He was a Kuninihi for Kamehameha I. He lived in his ancient place in Halawa. The name of his followers at that time was Kuninihi. All the `ili `ainas of Halawa were distributed to his kuninihi. Planted by Kamehameha I were the noni of Hapuu and Puuloa /Translator's note: this seems to be a figurative allu ....
