Hear Ye, O Land Commissioners, Greetings and Peace: I hereby tell you the basis of my rights at the garden and mo`o `aina called Umi, and Luapou, between Mokauea and Kalihi, Island of Oahu. /They have been mine/ from the time of Kahana until this day.

The property fence is the only enclosure of this property. He (Kaanaana) has a house there on the side adjoining Kapalama and he had received his interest from Kalualu. He has lived in peace to this day."
