To the one who has been elevated, William Lee, the President of the Land Commissioners whom the Mo`i has appointed, J. H. Smith, Z. Kaauwai, John Ii and N. Namauu, being the commissioners who weigh the truth of the claims

I hereby state that I have a claim at Honolulu, in Kahehuna - a mo`o `aina and a house lot. My house lot was from my makuahunowai, Naone. The land claimed was from the former konohiki, Kea`u, and when he, was through it went to Keawe, who was the last konohiki, under whom we are living, at Kahehuna. This is when I got the land, which has had three konohikis, and this place of which I testify Is mine, the land and the house lot - seven patches in the mo` ....

Naonoaina, sworn and stated, "I have seen this place exactly as Kekino has just related here and Kekino has land interest there. No one has objected to Piena and her interest had been from my husband and me, but Kekino has a separate land. My husband and I had received this house lot in the year 1837 and it has been the same to the present time."

See Keo's protest on page 12. It has been postponed until Kekino obtains a document, for he is protesting. [Claim 957]

Kekino has taken care of Piena's place and the boundaries have been established.
