The President. The Honorable Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands, Greetings: I hereby tell you of my claim. This land is at Nukee, Honouliuli, Ewa, Island of Oahu. It is bounded on the north by the land of Kekukahiko, on the east by the land of Kamaala, on the south by the po'alima taro patch, on the west by the land of Kamalae. The second of my claims is bounded on the north by the land of Nihua, on the east by the land of Kamalae, on the south by the stream of Makaii, on the west by a po`alima and the land of Healani.

Here are my kula claims which are farmed. Bounded on the north by the Pali, Kaluamano, on the east by kula land of Honaunau, on the south, Kaluamano, on the west, the kula of Kamaale. The second of my kula claims is bounded on the north by a pali, on the east by the land of Kamalae, on the south by the land of Nihua, on the west by the land of Nihu ....

4. This is the house site at Ilikahi and here are the boundaries: Kekauonohi's pasture land, toward the mountain
Nohunohu's land, Honolulu and
toward the sea
Kauhi's land, Waianae.

This is a house site at Ilikahi in Honouliuli, whereon is a house. The following are the boundaries:
plain land lot, toward the mountain
Kamalae's lot and Paele's house, Honolulu here and
the meeting house with the rough lumber, Waianae.

All of these places have been cultivated well. Kinolua's land had been from Honaunau, but he had received this land long ago in the year 1839. The house lot is an idle area."

Kalama, sworn and stated, "I have seen this property which is exactly with everything that Maakuia has just related here."
