To the Honorable Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands, Greetings: I hereby tell you of my land claim which is at Kaaumakua, Honouliuli, Island of Oahu. It is bounded on the north by the land of Pio, on the east by the land of Napahi, on the south by the fenced land of Kaaumakua, on the west by the land of Hilea. Kaope gave it to me.

Kapio's land, toward the mountain
Napahi's land, Honolulu
Kekuanaoa's pasture, toward the sea and
Hilea's property, Waianae.

The property fence is the only fence for this property and there is no house. Kaope had given Kaonou this land, no one else has an interest there."
