To the Honorable Land Commissioners, greetings: I hereby tell you of my claims for my house lots in Honolulu and other places.

Lot 1 is mauka of Keonimana and makai of W. Ladd. This lot was from Kupihe.
Lot 2 is mauka of Kamakahonu, and below Pehu. This lot was from Kamakee.
Lot 3 is makai of Beretane, just mauka of Mr. French. This lot was from Kamakee.
Lot 4 is at Lahaina, between M. Kekauonohi and Z. Kaauwai, and it was from Kamakee.
Lot 5 at Kopoula, between Haaheo and Kaleikini, is from Kamakee.
A leased pond is at Kaneohe, Koolau. Its name is Nuupia. Five years remain from the 6th day of September /on the lease/. I pay $20 a year.
Those are all my claims.

Consisting of 3 lots in Honolulu, 1 fish pond in Koolau & 2 lots in Lahaina.

1st. A house lot in Honolulu between John Munn's & William Ladd's.

Kauliokanioa, sworn, This is a house lot in Honolulu, bounded:
Ewa by J.H. Wrights
Makai by John Munn's
Waititi by Fort Street
Mauka by Will Ladd's present residence.

It is fenced & has several houses on it occupied by foreigners. Claimant has owned this lot from about 1825 in peace. He received it from Kupihea, his relative, who was lost with Boki. I never heard his title disputed.

Namauu, sworn, and entirely substantiated the previous testimony.

Kauliokamoa, sworn, I know this place, bounded:
Makai by Makahonui's and my own place
Waititi by Pehu's
Mauka by uncultivated land called Peleula
Ewa by Nuuanu Street on a small part.

Claimant owns a strip out from this land to Nuuanu Street, about 5 fathoms wide. I mean this strip runs out to Nuuanu Street where I say it is so bounded. It is fenced & has several houses on it. Claimant has lived on it since 1846 and erected there a new house. He got this lot from Amakoe, Piikoi's wife, who had it from Pehu. I know of no counter claimant.

I, Kamehameha III convey these two lots, Kapihi's lot in the uplands of Kapoulu and the lot toward the ocean of Pelekane (Beretania) which is Kapihi's place on Oahu. This property is to be for Kamakee and Iona Piikoi and to the assistants for all time.
