Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I have a claim in an `ili in the Ahupua`a of Kalamaula. The name of my `ili is Mahana and it is on the Island of Molokai. It is 200 fathoms and the width is 300 fathoms. I received it from Keawe, the former konohiki and have held it until this resent konohiki, Ke. I have cultivated this land for eight years without deserting it. The witnesses who know when I occupied this land are Kanakanui and Kalino.
