I have been on these Islands for a number of years. For the years 1823 to the present time I do not hold this land from that time, which was given me by my friend, a chief & landholderfrom Kamehameha I. The land which I do clame has wright owner of it as long as I live on the Island.But I have lost my wright by the preasant or King or Governor, but cuting the road throught it; which has taken the right part of it.
