Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I have a claim in an `ili in the Ahupua`a of Halawa on the Island of Molokai. It is named Manua. On the makai side is Maleka, for Kaneiahulu; mauka is Kaaualani, for Kalikelike. A pali is above, and a stream is below. I have occupied and cultivated this land from the time it was given me by Paia. Kimoteo is the present konohiki. It is 143 fathoms long by 23 fathoms wide, from the kula to the lo`is. One lo`i po'alima is in my `ili at Manua.
